But you can &lt;i&gt;see&lt;/i&gt; light - that's why when it's pulsed at certain frequencies it can mess with people's heads. You don't have any way of detecting microwave radiation, until there's enough of it that it heats up you. Pulsed microwaves are still microwaves.
