Feeding

May 24th, 2008

I’ve switched my RSS feed to full-text, so you don’t have to visit the site any more unless you want to post comments, or link to it, or look at anything but the blog posts. I’ve also moved the main feed to Feedburner, in case that makes my life better somehow. So, now you can read all my posts in your feed reader, except for this one, which cuts off moments before the really disappointing bit.

    Nicely done.

I visit the site regardless, feeds aren’t very reader-friendly.

I’ve also just upgraded to Wordpress 2.5, and started to add a few tags. Feel free to help out: tags are separated by commas and may contain spaces. If you use the same tags as other people have that’s far more useful all-round, but unfortunately I don’t have a list of tags or any autocomplete system. If anyone can recommend a good plugin for this then please do.

When I upgraded, I forgot to re-add my fancy-pants comment code, which meant it started letting through all comments. I got 28 in seven hours.

Whoever says my captcha is rubbish had better come up with a convincing argument against those kinds of results.

I’ve just fixed the huge tagbox that Opera and IE showed. This was caused by the plugin author failing to test it in other browsers than Firefox (or possibly Safari). I also failed to do that, but that was mostly because I assumed he would have.

    Or she.

    But almost certainly he.

I’ve now made the site look better in IE. Still not as good as it looks in a proper browser, but not bad either.
